I know. I always know what is good for me, when I should stay or go. Whether the person who just came in feels right or not. Whether I should opt for a project or let it go. My intuition is razor-sharp, unerring. But do I always dare to follow it? Do I allow myself to be influenced by fear, by beliefs that are not my own, or by what the outside world thinks?
Because it is one thing to feel and experience that YES or NO and then actually start living it. Especially in a society that claims to want to see you very authentically, but at the first authentic glimpse pulls out the pitchforks to shove you back into the box, startled.
Don’t be frightened! There is no greater euphoric feeling than when you are truly true to yourself, letting yourself be guided purely by what is right for you. Being truly attuned to yourself also means being attuned to the whole. Where it is pure, it is always right. And it serves us all!
Is that easy? No, certainly not! Do you always know immediately whether it is your intuition or a figment of your imagination? No, neither. Feeling what is real means feeling—in your body! Beyond that protection, facing yourself, can sometimes be hugely exciting.
I’ve never regretted following my intuition, but I have regretted not following it. So when I feel another deep YES (like yesterday when looking at a house) and everything seems illogical, not as conceived, I stop for a moment. Then I feel again. Sh*t, I think. I have to follow this. No matter how illogical.
But by now, I know—I have experienced dozens of times—that following this inner knowing produces the most brilliant experiences and encounters. That it is right! Far beyond thought lies a world of unprecedented possibilities. And your soul knows the way.
